Christ the King stewardship campaign

We are holding a stewardship campaign for both of our parishes over 3 weekends starting 7 and 8 October 2023.

The purpose of the campaign is to provide an opportunity for you as a parishioner to reflect on giving your time and talents through volunteering, and giving treasure through your financial contributions.

Week 1 is a general introduction to the campaign. It explains what it means, how as stewards we are responsible for taking care of all that God has given us in our parish and handing them on to the next generations.

In week 2 we focus on financial giving. As Christians our mission is to build God’s kingdom on earth. Acting as responsible stewards and reaching out to one another and to others though requires funds.  We hear about current income and expenditure and we are invited to review our giving in light of what is needed going forward.

In the final week, we focus on volunteering, giving our time and our talents.

Further information is available in the leaflets below, as well as through talks at each weekend Mass. Members of the Parish Advisory Council are also available after Mass to answer any questions and provide additional information if needed.
