Lord in your mercy – (Hear our prayer)

We pray that world leaders will put aside political differences and recognise the importance of participating in the UN Climate Summit in Glasgow in November.  May the proceedings lead to actions that will safeguard our planet for future generations.

Lord in your mercy – (Hear our prayer)

We pray for Ray Hudson who has died recently.  Ray was a much loved long term parishioner of Christ the King Parish.  May Brenda and the other members of Ray’s family know your loving reassurance.

And we pray for Linda Evans who has died suddenly.  Linda was the wife of Eoin Woods and daughter in law of Desmond and Anne Woods. May her family be comforted and supported.

Lord in your mercy – (Hear our prayer)

The half term holiday begins this weekend.  May it provide families with relaxation and the time to enjoy each other’s company.

Lord in your mercy – (Hear our prayer)

Let us spend a few moments in silent prayer. ….. …………long pause ……

We ask Mary the mother of our Lord, to join her prayers to ours saying;

Priest: We ask God the Father to hear and grant our petitions through him who lives in glory with You and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
