Priest: We come before God joyfully, he has saved us and works marvels for us. Let us now ask him for all our needs

Reader: We pray that all those who have died, may find the fullness of joy in God’s presence. We remember especially Paul Walker, husband of Helen and Helen Owen, who have both died recently.

 Remembering the poor man in today’s readings we place our petitions before the Lord asking for the gift of His grace in our lives

The response is “ Lord be close in our times of trouble”

This week we listened with horror to the details of the deaths of the 39 people who died in the back of a lorry as they sought to find a new life in our country. We ask the Lord’s mercy for them and all who mourn them

Today a new initiative of Family Mass is being started in our Parish seeking to unite all of us  as we celebrate  our Family in The Lord We ask the Lord’s blessing for this important new start in our prayer life

We pray for the Church through the world but especially in the Middle East where to be a follower of Christ is to be target for atrocities of all kinds

Lord be close in our times of need

Let us pray for all the deceased of our Three Churches remembering those who have died recently. May the Lord grant them eternal rest We ask also that He may comfort those who mourn

Let us ask Mary our mother to join us in our prayers saying Hail Mary…

The message in today’s readings is that the Lord prizes humility in us as a gift beyond compare. Accordingly we ask for in abundance

We pray for the Church throughout the world but remembering especially the mission of Fr Andy Bord who joins us now as assistant priest in our Three Churches. We pray that he will have a joyful and fruitful period with us

With joy we welcome Emily Cousins as she joins the Church today in the sacrament of Baptism. We ask the Lord’s richest blessings for her as she starts her missionary journey and we ask a blessing on her parents and wider family who will be her first guides on her pilgrim journey

We pray now for Emma Johnston and James Petryna who are to be married next week. We ask for the Lord’s richest blessings on their future life together Pause

Let us remember all the deceased of our Three Churches thinking especially about  Edna Wharry who died recently. May the Lord greet all of them joyfully and may He comfort those who grieve for them

We pray for Emily Harper Rowlands who is being baptised this weekend, that she may grow in faith with the help of family and God-parents……….Lord in your mercy…….
